On June 1, 2011 I. Zapatrina took part in the meeting on issues related to the decision to transfer heat energy complex objects that are in communal property of territorial community of Kyiv into concession

The meeting took place in the premises of Kyiv city state administration. The participants of the meeting has exchanged their opinions on selection of optimal model of management of Kyiv heat energy complex objects taking into account necessity of their modernization and efficiency increasing of the corresponding capacities use.

The authorized body on PPP issues in Ukraine has been determined

On May 31, 2011 the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine was determined to be a specially authorized body on PPP issues in Ukraine. In accordance with Decree of the President of Ukraine № 634/2011 dated 31.05.2011 “On Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine”, one of the main tasks of the Ministry is to form and ensure implementation of policy in field of PPP and development of normative-legal regulation on these issues.

Participation in training in the framework of project “Studying and implementing European Experience of Development and Realization PPP Mechanisms in Ukraine”

On May 24-26, 2011 I. Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center and Oksana Kyshko-Yerli, a consultant of the center have conducted trainings on peculiarities of PPP mechanisms use in Ukraine in the framework of educational program implemented by Rebel Group, Netherlands under the project  “Studying and implementing European Experience of Development and Realization PPP Mechanisms in Ukraine”

Among the participants of the training were representatives of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, State Agency for investment and national projects management of Ukraine, PI Institute of economy and forecasting of NAS of Ukraine.
