Meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Ukrainian PPP Development Support Center

On May З0, 2011 took place р. a meeting of the Supervisory Council of the Ukrainian PPP Development Support Center. Among the participants of the meeting were Y. Shemshuchenko, L. Kisterskiy, G. Pocheptsov, the members of the Supervisory Council, and I. Zapatrina and V. Oleshchenko, members of the Board.

The meeting was moderated by Y. Shemshuchenko, the head of the Supervisory council, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine, director of V.M. Koretsky Institute of State and Law of NAS of Ukraine.

 

At the meeting it was reviewed the first annual report of the Center, discussed the plan of the Center’s activity for the next year.

 

As a result of the meeting it was decided to recommend to the Board of the Center to concentrate the attention at:

- development and implementation of pilot PPP projects, on their basis development of methodological and methodic support to PPP development in Ukraine;

- improvement of legislative support of PPP development in Ukraine taking into account international experience;

- scientific expertise of draft laws and other normative-legal documents, programs and projects prepared by the executive power bodies regarding the efficiency of PPP mechanisms that they suppose;

- development of educational activity, preparation of scientific and professional staff, increasing of qualification of specialists in field of PPP;

- preparation of scientific publications and monographs on PPP related issues.
