The second meeting of the Strategic Council of the Center

On June 2, 2011 in the premises of Institute of demography and social research took place the second meeting of the Strategic Council of the Center.

The participants of the meting: E. Libanova, the head of the Strategic Council, members of the Council: V. Goncharuk, S. Yermilov,  Y. Kartashov, V. Kuhar, O. Kucherenko, L. Levaudel, A. Maksiuta,  L. Lyzun, B. Stychynskiy, A. Thibault, members of the Board: I. Zapatrina, I. Kucherenko, V. Oleshchenko.

It was reviewed and discussed the first annual report of the Centers’ activity and plans for the next year.

As a result of the meeting it was decided:

1. To prepare special issue of scientific magazine “Demography and Social Policy” in 2011 on PPP issues  and to attract prominent foreign specialists in this field to this project.

2. To address to V. Goshevska, the director of the Institute of qualification increasing of the Academy of State Management under the President of Ukraine with a proposal to introduce courses for the representatives of public authorities on PPP issues.

3. To conduct in September-November 2011 a row of round tables on PPP issues with active participation of institutes of NAS of Ukraine, bodies of executive power and local government, to invite there representatives of professional associations and large business.

4. To review the issues related to organization of international conference on PPP in November-December 2011 with attraction of members of Strategic and Supervisory Councils of the Center to its organization.

5. To support the activity of the Center aimed at widening of partnership relations net, to attract professional associations, banks and other financial institutions, large business.

6. To attract the members of the Strategic Council to find projects that could be implemented as pilot PPPs in order to develop the corresponding methodology and its further spreading in small, medium and large cities of Ukraine.

It was included new members to the Strategic Council:Oleksandr Piltiay, candidate of economic sciences, docent, and Oksana Vinnik, doctor of juridical sciences, professor.
