International Conference “Law, Justice and Development Week 2013” organized by the World Bank, November 18-22, 2013, Washington, USA

Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center took place in the conference.

On November 19 there were 3 sessions on PPP issues: PPP with small private operators: regulating the public service by local authorities; Updating the UNCITRAL PFIPs Legislative Guide and Recommendations: Towards a Model Law on PPPs; The use of Dispute Boards in Public-Private Partnership Transaction.

On November 20-22 the PPP experts have continued to work on discussion of the main positions on Updating the UNCITRAL PFIPs Legislative Guide and Recommendations and development of Model Law on PPPs.

The 2nd international conference Roads&Highways, October 28-29, 2013, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The main topic of the conference – modernization of highway infrastructure as a driver of economic development.

Among the participants of the conference are the representatives of public authorities, private business and consultants from South-East Asia, Oceania and Africa. On October 28 Irina Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center has made a presentation “Stimulating Economic Growth through the Development of Highway Infrastructure Projects”.

The 3rd Edition of annual CEE PPP & Infrastructure Forum, 16-17 Octobe, Warsaw, Poland

The conference brought together leading international experts and regional stakeholders to address the current issues and opportunities within PPP developments in the CEE region.

The closing presentation on Ukraine – “Ukraine: Challenges and Opportunities for PPP and Infrastructure Development “ – was delivered with zeal and charisma by Prof. Adam Prokopowicz, member of Strategic Council of the Center.
