On 31.08.2010 I. Zapatrina, the Chairman of the Board of the Center was appoited to be the deputy Head of the interagency work group on issues of public-private partnership development in Ukraine. I. Kucherenko, the member of the Board has also become a member of the group.

The group was established by the order of the Ministry of economy dated 31.08.2010 No.1082 «On establishment of interagency work group on issues of public-private partnership development in Ukraine» to coordinate of the activity on PPP development in Ukraine for implementation of projects of social importance based on interaction and common interests of the state, scientific and public organizations, business structures, territorial communities; development of institutional, normative-legal and scientific-methodological approach in this field; support of pilot projects implementation and spreading of the obtained experiencee.  A. Maksiuta, the first deputy Minister of economy was appointed to be the Head of the group.

The main tasks of the group are:

a) development of methodological basis, scientific-technical and normative-legal support of implementation of PPP based projects of social importance;

b) preparation of proposals and draft legal-normative acts  aimed at improvement of regulatory framework related to implementation of PPP projects in Ukraine;

c) generalization and spreading of successful experience of implementation of PPP projects, assistance in conduction of conferences, seminars, round tables, organization of trainings on these issues;

d) determination of urgent issues related to implementation of PPP projects in Ukraine and measures on their solving;

e) forming of competitive environment in involvement of private sector to implementation of  priority projects of social importance, ensuring of transparency of these processes.
